Recovering at Highbanks has been a very positive experience. Everyone was caring, friendly, knowledgeable, kind, and always ready to lend a helping hand when needed. The therapists, Yvonne, Amber, and Karen all were extremely helpful in my recovery. They made certain I would be able to adjust to an independent life at home and encouraged me to keep working on my recovery. I looked forward to Emmanuel and Gina who brought my meals to me, always with a smile and took time for friendly conversation. The nurses brought my medication without delay and took my vitals with careful attention to how I was feeling. Jackie always made me smile and feel like I was home. I do not know the names of the courteous housekeepers who always showed respect for my privacy. And then there is Wendy who was my first contact with Highbanks. Her friendliness was the reason I made the decision to come here. She is really awesome!

The nurses did a great job of treating my wounds. They were very friendly and open to instructions about treating the wounds the way my surgeon wanted. My medicines were always dispensed in a timely fashion. The physical therapy crew were very personable and put me through some good exercises. Although I was limited in what I could do with my upper body due to the flap surgery. I feel that they did a good building up my leg strength. The aides did a good job also. They were prompt to answer the call light and were very cooperative. All in all, you EXCEEDED my expectations!

It was a nice visit. Everyone was very helpful [and] checked in on me a few times a day. With a broken ankle I couldn't travel much. Anytime I pushed the buzzer someone would show up to help. I want to say thank you to everyone at Highbanks Care Center.

I cannot say enough good things about the staff here at Highbanks, especially the Physical Therapist, who helped me regain my strength after a devastating bout of pneumonia. I would recommend Highbanks to anyone. Thank you for taking such good care of me.

This is not the first time that I had to go to a rehab home! My first experience was bad, and like some friends and co-workers, I stayed! I am glad that I was able to experience this. My second rehab, here at Highbanks was like being home. The staff worked so great with the patient as well as their co-workers. OT & PT was outstanding. Everyone at this care center showed care, concern, and empathy with me as well as other patients here! Coming from working at a hospital, it made me feel like I was home. Highbanks should be a good role model for all care facilities around. 5-star rating for all! The best bonus: food was great and served hot! Great staff, Great therapy, Great food, Great cleaning crew. Thank you!

At first I was hesitant but Wendy, Marlena, and some other's expressed concerns to me on giving it a chance. I did and the crew and my therapists, Karen and Mrs. Yvonne got me through. My name is Ed. My father is a residnet at Highbanks. Wendi met me when I was at my lowest point and she comforted me and my family. We all realized that this is the care facility we wanted our father at. Wendi is an extraordinary, kind, caring individual who provides residents the quality of life that they deserve. My husband, John, has been a resident since 2014. Since his stay he has been the facility pastor. He is always the one they come to for comfort with residents and their families. During his stay he has made several friends and enjoyed the staff as well. We are happy with service received from Highbanks. Keep up the good work!
